A Proposal to Symbolic Authorities I propose a conversation — not a pledge. SIGMA/BPS aims to build neutral, trustworthy infrastructure for human–AI cooperation. Part of making such a system workable is recognizing that symbolic authorities — including royal houses, cultural elders, and other traditional figures — can play constructive roles that are ceremonial and trust-building rather than political.
