Pretender to be tough easily shifts to be weak I know one pretender to be tough. The person shifted to be weak after he/she lost own bluff. I thought about the difference between real confidence and bluff. Real confidence stands by our sides, but bluff is put on own faces. Real confidence makes us stronger. Bluff can make us both of stronger and weaker. In other words, real confidence is asset, but bluff is risk. The result of bluff will be better or worse than without bluff. Result With Real confidence Without Real confidence With Bluff Middle Risk and High Return High Risk and Middle Return Without Bluff Low Risk and Middle Return Middle Risk and Low Return I don’t know this matrix is true, but not so far from true. 2017/5/14. Function value vs Utility value= IQ vs Job ability
(Memo)
Function value: the variety of what I can do. Supply function.
Utility value: the function of what we want. Request function.
If there are a lot of supply functions, will customers (=boss) be happy?
It's just like a supermarket, and customers don't always go to there.
Too many keys on remote control causes customers frustrating.
So too many or too high function (=high IQ) causes others frustrating.
My boss needs only answer via request function, not high IQ. It's natural.
My problem is high pride and rude character.
Job ability is different from IQ. Job ability is how to answer request function.
High IQ doesn't mean high job ability.
And if I want to get high job ability, I try to use my IQ, time & effort for something specific field. It means special liquor shops win to some supermarket.
For individuals, having special ability on specific field will help our life.
If the person who have too high IQ has trouble in job, the difference between supply and request function may be the problem.
And this is same to human relationships, because normal people wants normal reactions from others, normal people does NOT want smart reactions!
