The Importance of "Hatsu": The Art of Influencing People through Emotionics

The Importance of "Hatsu": The Art of Influencing People through Emotionics

Core Concepts of Hatsu

  • hatsu(plus) Concept: Affirming and strengthening the other person's emotions.
  • hatsu(minus) Concept: Denying or detaching from the other person's emotions.
  • hatsu(negativezero) [-0] Concept: Canceling out a "negative" state and raising it to a neutral level (zero).
  • hatsu(positivezero) [+0] Concept: Calming an "excessive positive" (aggressive/exalted) state and bringing it down to a neutral landing (zero).
  • hatsu(sync) Concept: Synchronizing with the other person's emotions.

1. Shifting from Exclusion to Connection: hatsu(sync)

The current "World Order" tends to push dissatisfied individuals to the periphery. This is a survival instinct—an attempt to protect the internal system by severing emotional connections with those who harbor discontent. However, this does not resolve the frustration; it only allows it to amplify externally.

Through hatsu(sync), we can synchronize with the emotions of others rather than excluding them. By establishing a "connection," we can accurately assess their emotional state and detect the early warning signs of an "explosion" or uprising before it happens.

2. Neutralizing and Calming Aggression: hatsu(positivezero)

Those plotting to overthrow the status quo often fall into "Type D" (External Blame × Exploration), where they feel a sense of exaltation or "high" in destroying existing frameworks.

Simply exiling these individuals makes them more radical, eventually returning as even more formidable threats. What is needed is not a game of "passing the buck," but a transition to a state of stillness (Nagi) via hatsu(positivezero). By refusing to synchronize with their aggressive exaltation and instead cooling down their emotions, we can sap the motivation for destruction and prevent the collapse of the system.

3. Restraining the Runaway "Justice": hatsu(minus)

Some dissatisfied people fall into "Type B" (External Blame × Optimization), using their own sense of righteousness as a shield to constantly criticize the system.

Attempting to counter them with "logic" or "correctness" often leads to an endless drain on resources and systemic exhaustion. In such cases, hatsu(minus) is vital. By detaching from their emotional frequency and intentionally choosing not to synchronize, we can maintain internal resources without being manipulated by their demands.

4. Redefining the Solitary Seeker: hatsu(negativezero)

Among those pushed to the fringes are "Type C" individuals (Internal Blame × Exploration) who sink into themselves out of despair.

If left alone, they become "harmless loners" who fall through the cracks of society. However, if we use hatsu(negativezero) to filter the noise out of their negative emotions and extract only the facts, we can transform their power of "exploration" into a tool for systemic improvement and new insights.

Conclusion

The current survival strategy—reminiscent of a game of "Old Maid" where everyone tries to pass the Joker to someone else—mismanages emotional energy. By introducing the technology of Hatsu, we stop viewing emotions as something to be "pushed away" and start seeing them as "energy to be controlled and transformed."

This approach allows us to preemptively prevent explosions caused by accumulated discontent, paving the way for a more sustainable order that goes beyond mere exclusion.
