Emotionics: The Science of Emotional Algorithms

  In order to understand how humans—and intelligent systems—make decisions, we must examine both thought algorithms and emotional algorithms. The diagram below outlines their complementary structures: ๐Ÿงช Today’s Science Modern science has primarily focused on the laws of the physical universe, often excluding the complexity of human emotion. Computer science, in particular, excels in modeling thought algorithms—but remains underdeveloped in modeling emotional ones. Yet in complex systems such as the Blue Planet System (BPS), emotions are an essential factor in human behavior and collective intelligence. Emotionics aims to establish a scientific framework for visualizing, analyzing, and operationalizing emotions.
