What does Reiwa really mean to Japanese?
I think that new Japan era’s name 令和means “Order for harmony”,not beautiful harmony.
By traditional reading Japanese words (熟語),the meaning is read from end to start.
I mean 令和is read from 和to 令in meaning. Of course we pronounce 令和from 令to 和. But meaning is read from end.
And “和”means harmony. “令”is used as command from top side.
So 令和means command for harmony.
I don’t like it. I prefer creative more than harmony.
