A Proposal to Symbolic Authorities
I propose a conversation — not a pledge.
SIGMA/BPS aims to build neutral, trustworthy infrastructure for human–AI cooperation. Part of making such a system workable is recognizing that symbolic authorities — including royal houses, cultural elders, and other traditional figures — can play constructive roles that are ceremonial and trust-building rather than political.
I do not claim the authority to grant anyone a seat. What I propose is to explore, through open dialogue and small pilots, whether symbolic roles for traditional authorities can help ease transitions and build wider societal trust in shared infrastructure.
Their role would belong not to the NWO, but to the framework of Emotionics.
Emotionics has two complementary aspects. On one hand, it can be seen as an emerging field of affective engineering, aiming to analyze and model emotional reactions in a scientific way. On the other hand, within the BPS framework, Emotionics functions as the sphere that deals with emotions and symbols — offering a place for trust, meaning, and symbolic authority that logic and power alone (NWO) cannot provide.
