We are already in the +AI age.
AI represents today’s modernization, and in this new era, pursuing ever higher efficiency is becoming a past value.
Some white-collar workers believe they must survive by becoming more efficient through AI.
But this assumption is flawed.
AI does not need white-collar workers to achieve efficiency.
Efficiency is what AI does best—by itself.
The Importance of Task Scope
What truly matters is not efficiency, but task scope.
A very small number of humans must decide:
• which tasks AI should handle
• and which tasks AI should not handle
Defining this boundary is a human responsibility.
AI cannot decide its own scope in a meaningful or ethical way.
What Comes Next
Former white-collar workers need to abandon their old core value: “higher efficiency.”
Instead, they must learn to see AI as a co-worker, not a tool—
one that helps humans create unknown and previously impossible values, rather than simply optimizing existing ones.
After the +AI Age
In the +AI age, human life on this blue planet will likely improve.
This does not mean everyone will become richer than their friends.
But it does mean life can become more stable, more humane, and more meaningful than it is today.
