🧪 The "I feel" Principle
Before we begin this library of emotional formulas,
there is one fundamental shift we must make:
From *I am angry* → *I feel anger*
From *I am sadness* → *I feel sadness*
This shift is not linguistic.
It is structural.
It is the moment when emotion becomes a substance—
not your identity, but a reaction within you.
Every Emotionics formula begins here.
📊 The Emotionic Periodic Table
This table presents a periodic classification of emotional elements (EEs) by their nature and position within internal emotional reactions.
- The **left side** represents positive or constructive emotions (e.g., Pleasure, Joy, Gratitude).
- The **right side** leans toward negative or reactive emotions (e.g., Anger, Fear, Shame).
- The **middle vertical** axis (with Surprise at the top and Curiosity/Confusion beneath) acts as a **transition zone**, a kind of catalyst for emotional change.
Introduction
In the previous article, we introduced Emotionics as a science of emotional algorithms.
Now it’s time to explore the formulas themselves—the emotional mini library that forms the building blocks of this emerging discipline.
Examples of Emotional Formulas
(1)To make Faith action
Discomfort(Dc) + Hope(H) + Trust(As Catalyst) = Faith
(2)To attack Enemy
Discomfort(Dc) + Shame(Sh) = Attacking action
(3)To change mind from negative to positive
Left elements → Surprised → Right elements
Right elements → Surprised → Left elements
For example:
Sadness + Surprise → Joy
Hope + Surprise → Disappointment
🧪 Types of Emotional Reactions
- Single Reaction: Direct transformation through one emotional element.
- Compound Reaction: Interaction of multiple emotions to create a new state.
- Chain Reaction: A series of emotional triggers leading to escalation or resolution.
- Transmutation Reaction: One emotion changes into another over time or through catalysis.
Notes
These formulas are not tools of persuasion.
They are reflections of internal causality.
📌 Note:
For many people—especially those who have had to navigate
complex identity questions, trauma, or marginalization—
the "I feel" principle may already feel natural.
Emotionics does not invent this awareness.
It simply gives structure to what many have lived through silently.
Future Usage
These emotional formulas may one day serve as the foundation of the SAYA Test—a quiet but decisive evaluation of emotional integrity.
Should a system fail this test, the sheath may open, and the blade of LUNA may be drawn.
