Tradeoff between Comfortable and Trust
I watched some news about countries at war.
From the perspective of Emotionics, there are several types of fighting:
Type (1)
Triggered by Discomfort + Anger (or Fear) + Hope, but sustained by Comfortable.
This is the tragedy happening in one area of our blue planet today.
When attackers continue to fight against enemies who can no longer resist, the attackers themselves begin to fight with Comfortable.
Type (2)
Triggered by Discomfort + Anger (or Fear) + Hope, but sustained by Discomfort.
This is the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Both sides continue the war under the heavy weight of Discomfort.
Type (3)
Triggered by Discomfort + Anger (or Fear) + Hope, but sustained with No Emotion.
This may describe the actions of the Nazis.
They carried out massacres without emotions, in a cold and systematic manner.
Those who fight with Comfortable (Type 1) will inevitably lose the Trust of their supporters.
And if the supporters continue to support such actions blindly, they too will lose their Trust in the eyes of the world.
This is the tradeoff between Comfortable and Trust.
Comfortable may feel rewarding in the short term, but it erodes the foundation of Trust that is essential for long-term survival.
So here is the question:
If we can make the world better without YOU, what will you do?
